Walt Disney’s Snow White Annual 1937
CollectingCollectables.com is selling this stunning and rare Snow White Annual from 1937, giving the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in storybook and cartoon animation form with brilliant illustrations inside from the Disney film and other additional material, which comes complete with the original glassine dust jacket, the colour frontispiece and is uninscribed – extremely rare piece of Disneyana and great collectible! This is one of the best examples of this Disney book on the book market today
The glassine dust jacket is in Very Good condition with slight edge wear to the edges.
The original boards have stunning decorations to the front, back and spine with colour images of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Though there is minor shelf wear, it is clear that the glassine dust jacket has done its job since the boards have miraculously retained its fresh appearance and feel and certainly does not resemble a Disney book that is in excess of 70 years of age
There are 155 numbered pages which are lightly age toned throughout, and this is due more to the thick type of paper used than how it has been stored. The pages are very clean and tightly bound which makes one believe that this book has probably never been used – particularly since it has not been inscribed
Overall, this book is in Near Fine condition and as such is exceptionally rare in this (or any) condition and as this is Walt Disney’s first feature length animation film has to be one of the best Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs collectables on the market today
