Walt Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Bagatelle Toy Game by Chad Valley 1937
CollectingCollectables.com is selling this very rare Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs bagatelle (pinball) toy game, issued in the UK by Chad Valley to promote Walt Disney’s new animation feature length film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937. The game comes in its original card box that is decorated to the lid from a scene from the Walt Disney feature length animation film.
The original card lid is decorated in colour with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and is in Very Good condition with only slight age toning and a slight crack to one edge which is barely noticeable and is only mentioned for completeness. The inside of the lid is the instructions for the game. The base of the box is also made of card and has one small closed tear (no loss) otherwise it too is in Very Good condition.
The game itself sits in the base of the box and is made of tinplate. The game is decorated with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and other forest animals. The colours are very bright and vivid making this game in Near Mint condition. The game comes with 5 coloured balls – 3 green and 2 blue.
This is an exceptionally rare bagatelle game by Chad Valley from the 1930s, of museum quality, used to promote Walt Disney’s first feature length animation film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and will make an ideal centrepiece to any Disneyana or toy collection.
