Walt Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1930s 3 Box Set of 36 Magic Lantern Colour Slides
CollectingCollectables.com is selling this rare Walt Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 3 box set of magic lantern slides by Ensign, consisting of a total of 36 animation images in slide form behind glass from the feature film, on a total of 6 glass plates. Each box set is split into Chapters with each box accompanied by its own story book which gives the full story for Chapters 1 to 3, and relates to the numbered slides which comes from Walt Disney’s first animation feature film.
Chapter 1 comes in its original pictorial box which is in Very Good condition with a small closed tear to the front and one end flap with no loss. The two glass plate slides (numbered 1 to 6 and 7 to 12) are in Mint condition as issued; and the 8 page booklet has a large image of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the front and a full page advertisement of all the Disney glass slides to the back and has the normal folds to fit in the box and some minor creasing and wear.
Chapter 2 comes with its original pictorial box which is in Very Good condition with slight wear to the edges. The two glass plate slides (numbered 13 to 18, and 19 to 24) are in Mint condition as issued and the 8 page booklet, as before, is complete, has the folds and light creasing – a lovely example
Chapter 3 comes with its original pictorial box which is in Very Good condition with wear to the small tabs, two of which are partially detached, but with the larger tabs absolutely fine and with only slight surface wear. The two glass plate slides (numbered 25 to 30 and 31 to 36) are in Mint condition as issued. The boxed slides come complete with the 8 page booklet that tells the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs through all the Chapters in this boxed set of colour slides. The booklet is in Very Good condition with the usual folds and staple which is slight rusted
