Walt Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Puzzle Blocks Toy Game circa 1938
CollectingCollectables.com is selling this very rare and desirable early Disney toy made of wooden blocks with each of the six sides having a picture when assembled together in the correct order. The puzzle blocks come complete with 4 colour illustrations plus one adhered to the outside of the lid of the accompanying wooden box and one to the inside of the lid.
The blocks are in Very Good condition with only very slight wear. The loose paper illustrations are also in Very Good condition with slight wear and crinkling to the paper; and the wooden box is in Good condition missing its catch (which could be replaced); a loose base (which could be corrected); a stain to the plain base; some of the paper covering to the sides of the box is peeling off with very little loss and may be able to be re-stuck (not structural just aesthetics); and other minor wear consistent with a toy of this age. The base of the box is marked “FOREIGN” which is common for imported Disney toys from this period.
Wooden Disney toys from the 1930s are very rare and extraordinarily collectable. This is a lovely example from Walt Disney’s first full length animation feature film and would make a magnificent addition to any collection
