Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Annual 'Let's Get Together Again' 1938
CollectingCollectables.com is selling the Walt Disney first edition book of ‘Let’s Get Together’, a rare UK Disney Mickey Mouse cartoon animation annual from 1938. This represents a stunning piece of Disneyana of this early Disney Mickey Mouse book from the 1930s.
Published by Dean and Son, Ltd [London], the original boards are profusely decorated in colour with images of the early Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Clarabelle Cow, and others
The boards are in Very Good condition being very clean and complete with slight marks to the front and back boards; rubbing to the corners and edges; and a vertical crease to the spine. An extremely attractive set of boards and rare to be found in this state
There is no pagination, but all thick pages containing numerous stories featuring the Disney characters, are present (including the colour frontispiece featuring Goofy and entitled: “Cuckoo!”) and tightly bound in, being in overall Very Good condition with only light and small spotting (slightly more prominent to the blank front free endpapers and Title Page). The Title Page reads: “Produced with the permission of Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd”
This is an exceptional example of an early Disney animation cartoon book that is worthy of being in any Disney, animation or children’s illustrated book collection
